Details

Trails Information:	Trails are not too difficult ranging from around 18-29 kilometres (half day) with another 20 kilometres on a full day. It can be as easy or challenging as you want to make it. Small tarmac roads and off road trails in the hills and lowland valleys. Plenty of drinks, mini cold towel and snacks are included!
Skill Level:	Just be able to ride a bike! Equipment suited to even young children is available and, a support vehicle is on hand if the distances are too long or you want a more relaxing day!

Northern Trails (Half Day)

A relatively easy ride for all ages, although some experience will help! Mainly village roads and local tracks. Some challenging climbs but low hills that you can always walk up. So don't worry the views are perfect! (Around 20-25 kilometers)

Northern Trails - Itinerary

from 08.00 to 12.45

The tours start after we pick you up from hotel and take you to Tala Beach where there are some areas which you can test the riding before trips begin. After the biking brief of routes pedal and safety instructions we will bike along north eastern part of Phuket to school, farmer village along the Bike tours trails and road in idyllic rubber plantations, stunning valleys and small village. Picturesque coconut groves and friendly locals will become familiar sights along the way. On route your guide will point out local plants and places of interest. We will lead you through Bang Rong's villages along the quiet back roads where you can enjoy the gorgeous scenery and local culture up close where the traditional way of life has remained unchanged. After the leisurely coffee break at the local coffee shop we will head towards the Eastern coast of the unseen part of Phuket for Ao Por View Point, Enjoy the scenery of Phang Nga Bay in the distance. Transfer back to your accomodation.

08.00 - 08.15	pick up from your hotel and head for the north end of the island to start your bike adventure.
09.10 - 12.00	After the biking brief of routes pedal and safety instructions we will bike along north eastern part of Phuket to school, farmer village along the Bike tours trails and road in idyllic rubber plantations, stunning valleys and small village. Coffee at a local coffee shop try the local coffee and a snack. Visit a local house and see how the people live.
13.00 - 17.00	Time for a well earned Thai lunch (not too spicy!) at the local restaurant. Transfer south for the start of your next cycle tour. First stop Watt Chalong for a short visit to one of Phuket's most famous temples then ride southern trails route, cycling through coconut groves in this pretty part of the island. The tour finishes at Nai Harn Bay where you will get the opportunity to take a refreshing *swimming before heading back home.

Our one day Mountain Bike Tour from Phuket to Koh Yao Noi allows our vistors to experience natural Thailand and meet local people while enjoying Cycling in a quiet Island with hardly any traffic. The route can be modified to be made easy or more challenging depending on our guests.

Koh Yao Noi (Little Long Island) is a sleepy island still enjoying a slow pace of life located in Phang Nga Bay, only 1 hour’s boat ride away from the international resort island of Phuket.

The moment you step on to these islands the usual stress and worries of every day life melts away and the island pace of life gets a hold of you. While Thailand is a predominantly Buddhist country these islands are mainly populated by peaceful Muslim communities that make a living from fishing, rice farming and rubber tree plantations. The recent arrival of tourism to these islands hasn’t affected the warm welcoming locals.

Our Bike tour in Koh Yao Noi will have us Cycling through a small market town, rice paddies, past mosques and fishing villages, through areas of natural jungle rich in plant life and fauna.

This day trip Biking Tour combines small paved island roads with very little traffic as well as some off road dirt tracks through jungle areas and rubber trees. The distance covered is not excessive and anyone with a reasonable level of fitness will be able to enjoy this cycling tour.

Our mini buses will provide transport from your Phuket hotel to the pier, once we arrive in Koh Yao Noi after a 1 hour scenic boat journey we will be by our self with out mini bus/support vehicle for this Bike Adventure Tour. Be prepared for a Fun and Challenging day.

Thai Muang is a small Thai coastal town on the Andaman Coast in between Phuket and Khao Lak. Despite having a great coast line, deserted beaches, National Parks and waterfalls in the vicinity it is very much overlooked by most tourists; many people simply by pass the area, moving between Khao Lak and Phuket.

It is the quiet, unhurried pace of life in this small Thai town and the nearby villages that attracted Amazing Bike Tours to select the area for one of our Thailand Biking day trips. The location of this day trip makes it the perfect Biking choice for guests staying on Phuket Island.

Full Day Thai Muang Turtles & Waterfalls - Trip Profile

With the exception of the final few kilometres being on a dirt and gravel track, the rest of the Cycling is on good condition roads. We Bike across Sarasin Bridge and after a few kilometres we leave the main road and Cycle along small country lanes, perfect for Biking due to the very little traffic. The morning ride is a total of 30km on flat terrain. After lunch in a beachside restaurant and a visit to a Sea Turtle Sanctuary we bike another 15km to a waterfall. The afternoon ride is on a road with a few gentle hills thrown in. This Bike tour is followed throughout the day by our Mini-bus, if at any point any of our guests are tired they can jump in the bus and still enjoy the same views as everyone else.
