Loch Palm's new sister course, the Red Mountain Golf Course, a new 18 holes course now opens its gate to all golf lovers. Soft opening for 18 holes was on 01 May 2007. “Red Mountain Golf Course” this name is precisely describes the main geographical characteristic of this course as its best, the red-soiled mountains dotted around the course area, surrounded by lush tropical rain forest.

Testing your golf skill at the highest t-off in Phuket Island, while enjoy the stunning view of Chalong Bay and Phuket Bay. Experience the breathtaking hole 5 par 3, drive your ball from tee with a vertical drop of over 40ms down into the green at the bottom of valley, through towering trees. This maybe just too much to imagine, until you try this by yourself.

General Information

This former tin mine property features dizzying elevation changes. Holes have been sculpted into and through rugged 'rock' cliffs and canyons, perched on precipitous ledges climbing to a high plateau cut away from the mountain by decades of mining. The course will stretch to just under 7,000 yards from the 'Pro' tees playing to a standard par 72. Par 4 lengths stretch the full range of distances; each nine has an exciting 'drivable' par 4 and another 'shorty' that all can enjoy. But there are also 4 'two shotters' ranging from 440 to 470 yards.

The tin mine theme is never far away but Nature has healed herself and left a pleasantly surprising combination. Fairways and tees are grassed with Seashore Paspalum; Golf's most environmentally friendly and opulent playing surface. No expense has been spared on drainage; fairways have been capped throughout with a deep, clean sand layer allowing perfect playing surfaces just minutes after the heaviest rains.
