Liveaboard Boats

Phuket diving Thailand: Live-aboard boats have evolved considerably since the first trips began in the early 1970's. Boats no longer offer just basic bunks, instead catering to the more sophisticated requirements of today's diver. Facilities on board most dive boats include air-conditioned cabins, TV and video, photographic facilities and plenty of deck space.

Below are some brief descriptions of boats currently operating liveaboard trips to the islands around Phuket, and further north, to the Similan Islands and Mergui Archipelago close to the Burmese border.

M/V Colona 6

This boat was built to be the most comfortable dive boat in its price range on Phuket Island. Each cabin has two beds, a large panoramic window, A/C, minibar, private toilet and shower. M/V Le Mahé

Le Mahé was designed to be comfortable at a very reasonable price. The boat takes a maximum of 12 guests in six en suite bathrooms. There are two cabins on each of the three decks.

Nautica is designed to comfortably accommodate small groups of up to 10 guests in 1 double bed Master Cabin and 4 twin/double bed Standard Cabins.
